Little boy loves his watermelon and corn on the cob. He is a good eater! He will try just about anything you give him.

Making sweatshirts

Rayna has been busy making sweatshirts, t-shirts, and bags as gifts last year (December 2014). All these items has little boy's hand and foot prints on them made into really cute designs. I even did some homework and found a lot of other designs she can use.

These layouts were all made using a digi kit called Baby Mine by MagGraphics.

Christmas 2014

Timothy, Rayna and Mikhail spent Christmas with us this year. They arrived on Christmas Eve day and stayed through Sunday morning. Was great to have a little one in the house for Christmas morning...though he really didn't know what was going on.

The kit I used for these layouts is called Polar Express and was created by TBAB (Touched By A Butterfly). For the first layout I used a template by Anita Stergiou Designs.

Grandpa can't wait to watch the "Polar Express" with little boy a couple years from now...maybe even next year!

Later in the day, when grandpa got home from work, Mikhail gets a battery operated train. He was so excited with the train going round and round on the track. Look at that smile!

Uncle Keith gave little boy a wooden train and track that was the hit of the morning. Look how intent Mikhail is playing!

Mikhail, Halloween 2014

Mikhail dressed up as a cute little fireman this year for Halloween. Mommy and daddy took him around her parents neighborhood to go trick-or-treating.

I used "Be Gracious" by Cindy Ritter to make up these layouts. The colors are wonderfull...fallish, but can be used for any kind of layout.

Mr. Elf

Grandma (that's me) found a cute pattern online to crochet an Elf (Elf on a Shelf) for our little grandson. If you know the Elf on a Shelf theory, you are supposed to hide him until he arrives on Dec. 1 (or the day after Thanksgiving) and then he leaves on Dec. 24. The Elf, whom you should name, "watches" over little boys and little girls and reports back to Santa. Moms and dads move the Elf every day into a different position or doing a "naughty" or "nice" task. Children are not supposed to touch the Elf.

So...I was not sure if the new mom or dad wanted to do this, so I went ahead and made Mr. Elf.  If they wanted to do this, great, but it is a big task to do every day for a month and then every year for who knows how long!  If not, our grandson could just play with him.
